If you have not completed high school and want to prepare for college, we have two options:
- Academic Upgrading for the Mature Student Test
- GED Preparation
Our programs will help you meet the eligibility requirements for college entrance and help you succeed in college. Our education counsellor will help you determine which option will best meet your needs.
Academic Upgrading for the Mature Student Test
An option adult students applying for college may have is to write the mature student test. Depending on the college program you choose, you may have to pass a test in English (reading and writing) or mathematics. You can prepare for this test at our centre’s academic upgrading programs.
Our upgrading program will prepare you to write the GED tests for your high school equivalency. College programs accept the GED as a high school equivalent. For some programs, particularly in the health field, additional science or math may be required. Read More.
Our programs are convenient:
- We offer full-time and part-time classes
- We offer continuous intake – start any week (subject to available space)
